Selected projects

Casablanca tram network, Morocco
In Casablanca, RATP Group, through its subsidiary RATP Dev, manages a highly efficient and widely acclaimed network comprising four tram lines and two Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lines.
Recent network extensions, delivered on dedicated rights-of-way, have significantly enhanced mobility towards the western and southern parts of the metropolitan area while increasing the number of available interchanges. These developments form part of the ambitious multimodal strategy led for over a decade by transport authority Casa Transports, with the support of RATP Dev Casablanca.

RER A line, Paris
With 1.3 million passengers a day, the RER A line is the busiest rail line in Europe. Opened in 1969, it was the first line of the Paris Regional Express Network and remains a vital transport corridor across the Île-de-France region, linking east and west through the heart of Paris.
The RER A serves 41 municipalities across seven departments and covers 40,000 kilometres every day—the equivalent of travelling once around the Earth.

Riyadh automated metro, Saudi Arabia
With the simultaneous launch in 2024 of six fully automated metro lines spanning 176 kilometres, Riyadh's public transport network has been transformed into one of the world's largest automated metro projects. CAMCO, a subsidiary of RATP Dev and its Saudi partner SAPTCO, is responsible for managing the network's two principal corridors: the Blue and Red lines.
Designed to accommodate up to 3.6 million passengers, this new transport infrastructure aims to reduce private car traffic by 30%.

Lyon public transport network, France
Since January 2025, RATP Group, through its subsidiary RATP Dev, has been operating several modes within the TCL network across the Lyon metropolitan area, including the metro, tramway, funicular railway, Rhônexpress airport link, and river shuttle services.
Lyon's metro system comprises four lines, including two fully automated lines, providing high-frequency services across 45 stations and 70 kilometres of track. The tram network, with seven lines and 130 stations, covers 90 kilometres and complements the transport network and strengthens connectivity across the city. Together, these services account for a significant share of daily travel within the metropolitan area, with over one million passenger journeys made every day.
