The RATP Group’s alert system

RATP Group’s alert system enables employees and external collaborators (temporary employee, employee of a service provider, etc.) and employees who work on a non-regular basis (fixed-term, apprentice, trainee, etc.) of the Group* , as well as third-parties, to report, in accordance with the Sapin II Bill of 9 December 2016, relating to transparency, the fight against corruption and the modernisation of economic activity, and the “Duty of Vigilance” bill of 27 March 2017, relating to the duty of vigilance of parent companies and contracting companies.

These alerts concern:

• A crime or offense,
• a serious and obvious breach of an international commitment duly ratified or approved by France, of a unilateral act from an international organisation on the basis of such a commitment,
• the violation of a law or regulation,
• a threat or serious harm to the public interest,
• a breach of the RATP Group code of ethics or code of business conduct and corruption prevention,
• a serious violation of human rights and fundamental liberties, the health and safety of persons and the environment resulting from the activities of RATP and the Group’s subsidiaries

A report may relate to the following areas:

• financial, accounting or banking;
• fight against corruption and influence peddling;
• fight against discriminations and harassment at work;
• anticompetitive practices;
• public health;
• protection of the environment, pollution risk prevention and emerging risks;
• actions contrary to the code of ethics.

The whistle-blower has legal guarantees of confidentiality and protection against possible retaliation and the alert system guarantees data processing in accordance with the regulation no. 2016/679, known as the general data protection regulation.
For any report that does not fall within the scope of the alert system, other dedicated channels should be used (mediation, service provider’s portal, customer service, human resources service, etc.).
