RATP Group and sport

The same values and benefits that sport teaches us are equally essential in our societies: reaching ever higher, taking pride in meeting a challenge, as well as learning the rules of a game and the power of teamwork. As a stakeholder in cities with a role in furthering public interest, RATP Group has made sport a key focus in its partnership policy.

Major partnerships in rugby and handball

For many years, RATP Group has forged significant partnerships with two iconic French sports federations: those of rugby and handball. In addition to sharing common values, both of these high-profile activities have given the Group recognition in the world of sport. Through them, the Group is able to showcase its expertise in mobility by carrying athletes to and from events, while offering additional valuable forms of support.

Simultaneously, since 1982, the Group has been developing the collaborative programme Tous athlètes de la ville (All city athletes), in view of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This programme also includes the Athlètes de Haut Niveau RATP (RATP Top Athletes) scheme, which has enabled approximately 30 athletes to join RATP since the scheme was created in 1982.
