How we select projects

The projects that we review may be proposed through a direct approach (members of the Foundation’s team request contributions from a public interest structure, and vice versa) or through calls for projects that we regularly organise.

The Foundation’s teams analyse proposals according to their strategic focuses and pre-defined criteria.

When projects are chosen, the structures that submitted the proposal will then present their project to a Project Selection Committee that comprises volunteer employees from RATP Group’s various entities. Committee members will interview project owners and approve the Foundation’s sponsorship based on a precise set of criteria.

Funding for projects above a certain amount will also require approval from our board of directors, which convenes twice yearly.
