Supporting access to employment

We support projects that enable young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to begin shaping their career paths while making decisions about their education and future careers. We also fund scholarships and study programmes and encourage and organise student mentoring initiatives.

In addition, we support projects that help people who are far from the labour market become familiar with the workplace, acquire the skills needed to enter or return to employment, overcome gender-related barriers, prepare for recruitment and secure sustainable employment.

Konexio

The Konexio association was selected in February 2025 following the Foundation's call for projects launched in partnership with RATP Travel Retail.

For two years, Konexio has been provided, free of charge, with premises at Châtelet–Les Halles station, where it delivers digital skills training and helps people who are far from employment or affected by digital exclusion carry out their online administrative procedures. Located at the heart of the busiest transport hub on the Île-de-France network, the venue offers excellent visibility and accessibility for vulnerable groups.

Les Roues Libres

The Les Roues Libres association runs a careers guidance and training programme for women living in Paris who are seeking employment, preparing them for careers as bicycle refurbishment technicians.

The programme is organised around three phases:

raising awareness of careers in the cycling sector and encouraging participants to explore them;

connecting participants directly with the local cycling ecosystem in their area;

delivering two training sessions leading to qualifications as bicycle refurbishment mechanics.

Led by Becomtech, the Jump in Tech project is aimed at girls in Years 10 and 11 (Troisième and Seconde), particularly those living in priority urban neighbourhoods. Its objective is to broaden their future career choices and promote greater gender diversity in the digital sector.

Trajets d'avenir

Created by the RATP Group Foundation, the Trajets d'avenir programme enables students experiencing economic or social hardship to receive both a top-up grant and mentoring from a volunteer employee of RATP Group.
