Home Media and publication News The RATP Group Passenger Information Manifesto The RATP Group Passenger Information Manifesto Download the manifesto Passenger Information refers to all resources—including systems and technologies, tools, equipment, and human interaction—used to provide passengers with relevant information throughout their journeys. It also takes into account unforeseen incidents that may occur along the way. Passenger information is key to the customer experience, and at the core of how we manage our networks. It equally addresses accessibility concerns, allowing every passenger to travel as peacefully as possible on the network. Mobilising our various areas of expertise to provide solutions at every step of the way RATP Group has succeeded in building on the experience that it had acquired from its initial long-standing network in the Île-de-France region, to expand its expertise throughout France and internationally. Every day, the Group supports transport authorities, with one common goal: delivering passenger information that fulfils passengers’ needs, addresses their concerns, and contributes to the development of the regions served. This is why RATP Group has published its Passenger Information Manifesto, which highlights its expertise, convictions, and knowledge in this field. The Manifesto demonstrates the priority given to passenger information and showcases its extensive know-how. Through this initiative, the Group reaffirms its aim to foster development in regions, and to continue providing end-to-end passenger information. To meet increasingly high expectations from passengers and transport authorities, RATP Group has set out its commitment to assist transport authorities in providing passenger information that continues to be more reliable, proactive, human-focused, and accessible to all network users. This is an approach that both enhances the travel experience and encourages passengers to prioritise more sustainable transport options. “Given our involvement across the entire mobility value chain, we are able to respond efficiently at every stage, regardless of the scope (consultancy, project ownership, project management, operations, maintenance, and more). We provide solutions that fit the needs of each network, be they off-the-shelf, turnkey, scalable or custom solutions.” Hannah Murphy DIRECTOR, PASSENGER INFORMATION PROGRAMME The document focuses on three main channels through which we deliver the right information, at the right place, and at the right time, on behalf of the transport authorities that entrust us with these missions: Digital media: through our innovative solutions, we manage information in real time, thereby providing a more reliable, customised, and proactive passenger experience. Physical media: across our various media, we ensure clear, accessible, and location-specific information, based on passengers’ journeys. Human presence: beyond digital solutions, human interaction remains at the heart of passenger information. Our station staff members, who work on the frontline or behind the scenes, provide customised service to ensure that each passenger feels seen, heard, and assisted. “Our expertise enables us to go further and advise our customers by sharing the knowledge and feedback gained from networks with them at a time when cities worldwide are turning to public transport to meet their environmental and social challenges.” Hiba Farès CHAIRWOMAN OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AT RATP DEV, AN RATP GROUP SUBSIDIARY Our entities Recognized expertise in Passenger Information on the historic Île-de-France network, in France and internationally.
