Cross-sector industrial action: traffic forecasts for 18 September 2025

Due to a cross-sector industrial action on Thursday 18 September 2025, RATP expects disruption across its entire network.

RATP encourages passengers to work from home if they can do so or postpone their journeys on the network for that day. The company apologises for the expected transport conditions.

 

Metro

Normal service: Lines 1, 4 and 14.

Severely disrupted, service only during peak hours (6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.): Lines 7 and 9: 1 train out of 3 / Lines 10 and 13: 1 train out of 4.

Severely disrupted, partial service only at the times specified below:

  • Line 2: 1 train out of 3 between Nation and La Chapelle stations from 6:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

  • Line 3: 1 train out of 5 between Pont de Levallois and Havre Caumartin stations from 6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

  • Line 3bis: 1 train out of 2 from 2:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. across the line.

  • Line 5: 1 train out of 5 between Gare du Nord and Bobigny stations from 6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 – 7:30 p.m.

  • Line 6: 2 trains out of 5 between Nation and Place d’Italie stations (6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.) and Nation–Bercy stations (3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.).

  • Line 7bis: 1 train out of 2 from 6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. across the line.

  • Line 8: 1 train out of 3 between Créteil Pointe du Lac and Reuilly Diderot stations (7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.) and 1 train out of 5 in the evening (4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.).

  • Line 11: 1 train out of 4 across the line (6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.), then between Rosny and Porte des Lilas stations (4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.).

  • Line 12: 1 train out of 2 between Mairie d’Aubervilliers and Jules Joffrin stations (6:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.).

Please note that the stations listed below will be closed throughout the day: Bastille, Concorde, Arts et Métiers, Villiers, Opéra, République, Trocadéro, Sèvres-Babylone, Invalides, Place de Clichy.

RER (RATP zone)

RER A – disrupted service: 3 trains out of 4 during peak hours; 2 trains out of 3 during off-peak.

RER B – disrupted service: 1 train out of 2 all day, with interconnection maintained at Gare du Nord.


Bus

70% of routes will operate normally or almost normally.

Disrupted service:

  • T5: 3 out of 4 trams.

  • T7: 1 out of 2 trams.
