Urban Mobility days 2025

From September 30 to October 2, the RATP Group traveled to Vilnius to take part in the Urban Mobility Days organized by the European Commission. This major event celebrating urban transport brought together key players from across Europe.

Urban Mobility Days are a highlight in the world of urban transport. As the European Commission’s flagship event on urban mobility, they gather stakeholders from the sector (operators, organizing authorities, industry representatives, members of the European Commission, and more) from all over Europe.

After Brno (2022) and Seville (2023), the 2025 edition provided RATP Group with the opportunity to reaffirm the importance of considering multimodal hubs—and urban transport more broadly—within European policies, as they represent critical nodes in the European transport network.

Over the course of three days, RATP teams had the chance to make their voice heard with Eric von Breska, Head of the Investment, Innovation and Sustainable Transport Unit at DG MOVE of the European Commission; to exchange with Neil Valentine, Head of Urban Mobility at the European Investment Bank; to meet with Laurent Probst, Managing Director of Île-de-France Mobilités; and to discuss future transport challenges with Mohamed Mezghani, Secretary General of UITP (International Association of Public Transport).

Conferences provided an opportunity to showcase RATP’s expertise on a wide range of topics. While Mathilde Petit (Head of European Affairs and Financing) shared the Group’s successful experience in transitioning to clean buses with a broad audience, Céline Mazières (Director of Strategy, Marketing and Communication at RATP Solutions Ville) presented the innovative solutions developed by our subsidiary RATP Solutions Ville.
