Metro line 14 achieves the 6-star level of the EFQM award

On 15 June 2023, metro line 14 received an award during France’s National Day for Quality (Journée française de la Qualité), an event organised by the AFQP (French Association for Quality and Performance).

Achieving this major certification in the field of quality and management excellence, which is awarded by the EFQM and AFNOR, comes with global recognition.

Arriving at such a prestigious level of recognition in an unprecedented area such as that of metro line 14’s transformation (3 extensions in 4 years) is an outstanding performance. It confirms the high value of the exemplary practices that have been in place on the line for several years, to the benefit of all stakeholders.

Our staff’s pioneering spirit and their taste for challenges underscore these transformation projects, which are remarkable in scale, employee mobilisation and best practice improvement. Stakeholders, including Île-de-France Mobilités, have contributed to these changes and their feedback has confirmed our role in showcasing our expertise to assessment authorities.

Metro line 14 has become a true testbed for the future of mass transit in the Île-de-France region. It will also play a key role in hosting the 2024 Olympic Games.
